WIP info post for memes and such:

kharamagic and I'm currently voicetesting Zack here!
His canon point is *usually* the end of Crisis Core, but I can do earlier. I haven't had the chance to play Rebirth yet so I'm not confident on those canon points, but I know the gist and spoilers aren't an issue.
Name: Zack Fair
Age: 23
Hometown: Gongaga
Height: 6'1"/185cm
Build: Sturdy enough to swing that giant sword, lithe enough to move fast. Got some muscles but he's no tank.
Eyes: Unnaturally bright blue with threads of green thanks to the mako treatments
Distinct features: X-shaped scar on his left cheek, left by a beloved former mentor (long story)
Occupation: Former SOLDIER, currently in search of mercenary work
Special skills: Thwacking a heavy sword around, adaptability, somehow hanging onto shreds of optimism in the worst situations? He's the most people-y people person in a group that traditionally keeps to themselves. It's kind of his thing.
Voice: Light, youthful-sounding. reference
Personality: He will love you until you love yourself. Zack is a *mostly* upbeat guy who believes strongly in acting honorably and protecting his loved ones. He's easygoing and full of affection, and attaches to people easily. Gives solid hugs.
Gen threads: Please. All of them. Zack's a very friendly and giving guy and he can poke even the most reluctant person out of their shell. He's good with kids, grumps, adventurers...
Ships: My favorite ships are Zack/Cloud and Zack/Aerith, but I'm pretty flexible about trying new things! I'm also open to cross-canon ships of people around his age, or like...even a what-if with Tifa, maybe?
And an important note on the love triangle discourse: of course I love my boy and his cherished loved ones, but I'm happy to also play all the above as gen! 'Aerith moved on with Cloud' is...he's a bit melancholy, sure, but he fully understands. It's been five years and he loves them both so much, if they're happiest now that's great. So if you're into either of them telling him this, I could go for it on the right meme!
